Iran’s intelligence agency says it has uncovered caches of U.S.-made firearms, explosives and related equipment hidden in homes linked to alleged militant cells amid the country’s ongoing protest unrest. Officials reported that security forces raided multiple residential properties across several provinces, seizing weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive device components and surveillance gear, including more than 200 kilograms of explosives.
