Comparative to investors, I doubt if every single gamer sold their stock, there would even be the slightest impact. And investors are not going to sell their stock, when the future is likely AI.
Gaming will likely be very AI heavy, with weaker GPUs producing a high-quality image. I think upper end 4000 and 5000 series GPUs will be worth their weight in gold. Hopefully I am wrong, but I think the 6000 series (and onwards) will be a sad state of affairs for actual rendering capability.
I think, happy to be corrected, both AMD and Intel have announced they are out of the high-end graphics game. Nvidia has all but confirmed the same.
Graphics are likely going to stagnant, I think Soundwave is correct.
