I agree that it's not the best moment to ask for so much RAM, more so to run the game at 1080p.

I don't know, I want to believe that they're trying to cover their asses with higher than usual requirements just so they can use them as an excuse when some gamers complain about how it runs.

The VRAM thing is, in part, understandable and, after Indiana Jones, more games will do the same. But it will still be weird to see someone with, say, an RTX 3060 12GB play this game while others with a 3080 won't be able to.

What do you mean a 3080 won't be able to? Those are the recommended requirements, the minimal is 16GB of RAM and 8GB of VRAM so someone with a 3080 might just need to turn down the texture quality. We'll need to see how it actually runs but its minimal and recommended requirements seem pretty reasonable to me for a 2026 game.

True, true. I didn't pick my words correctly. Allow me to clarify: someone with a 3060 12GB card will be able to play the game (if the card is powerful enough, of course) at 1080p and 60fps, while someone with a 3080 will only be able to run it at 1080p and 30fps since the game asks for 12GB of VRAM for such setting.

And it will still feel weird.

Please excuse my bad English.
