10 - Resident Evil
- This game, which launched a major franchise, was originally conceived as a remake of another title.
- “Wow, what a mansion!” - just one of several iconic lines from this game that’s known for its cheesy dialogue.
- This game coined the term ‘survival horror’

05 - Tomb Raider
- Yet another re-working of this game was recently announced for release next year.
- The well known heroine visits Peru, Greece, Egypt, and Atlantis in this title that launched a major franchise that has gone beyond the boundaries of gaming. As of writing, it currently has three movies, several comics, and an animated show on a streaming service to its name.

03 - Super Mario Bros 3
- In this game, the hero can take flight for the first time. There are three power ups that allow him to do this.
- Whistles can whisk you away to other worlds.

02 - Tomb Raider II
- Some feel the abundance of human enemies in this game lessens the sense of isolation the previous game did so well. By the end of the second level, you’ll have come across more human enemies than you will have done in the entirety of the previous game.
- This is the first sequel to the game in clue number five.
