I think we'll yet see another case of "there is no ethical consumption under capitalism" and most people shrugging it off when that happens. 

When more artists and animators are put out of work, say that again.

I actually think a significant proportion of the population (20-30% by 2030 is my prediction) will be put out of work, and systematic issues need to be solved systematically. 

Tailoring solutions to just one industry or craft doesn't make sense. The most effective labor rights have been won historically through class solidarity/consciousness and not solidarity by craft. 

Occupational artists (and most non-artists) need to get ready to fight the actual problem - capitalism.
