Most devs will use AI Going forward. They'd be silly to waste the money and time on stuff like very early concept art and pre production stuff. As long as they don't use it in the actual game, where is the problem?

The problem is they're glorifying soulless trash instead of concept art from actual hard working human artists whose livelihood is at stake because of small minded overpaid CEOs who wanna fuck over the little people.

This also shows how full of shit The Game Awards are.
