Despite Metroid Prime 4's failures... It does have some very very very positive aspects.
What it got right, they got really really right.
And what they got wrong, it's just "okay".

* Performance.
- 60/120fps.
Running it at 120fps on my TV with the Switch 2 is amazing.

* Graphics.
- Probably one of the best looking games on Switch 1, regardless of framerate.
- Amazing art, it's very Halo 4-esque with it's baked details, which holds up due to relatively high (comparatively) resolution. - Where the Art takes a backseat is sadly in the open world areas.
The visuals seriously pop with the Switch 1 OLED. (Highly recommend to run the game on the OLED if you are gaming in  handheld mode) - It actually looks better than the HDR
on the Switch 2 console in handheld.

It's just the package as a whole needed more time in the oven... The swapping of developers and relying on external contractors didn't do them any favours.

But if they take this (very solid) foundation for a Metroid Prime 5, I think we are in for a real treat.

So far though, Metroid Dread is the far superior game overall...

This is one of those games where I *had* to buy, just because:
1) It's Metroid.
2) I want more Metroid. So I try to incentivize with additional sale.
3) It's a proper technical showcase of the Switch 1 hardware.
