The price and specs aren't perfect if consumers think the price is too high. That means the specs should have been worse to get the price down.

The price is fine outside maybe Europe. It just needs more compelling software and a fewer paid bundles. Matching Switch 1's long term success is a difficult goal regardless of specs and price.

I just don't think there was any need for Nintendo to make the Switch 2 a PS5 AAA downgraded ports machine. Nintendo games don't even need stuff like DLSS. They should have just made a Switch 2 that would be a more modest upgrade of Switch 1, capable of playing Nintendo games and indies with a bit better fps and resolution, because those are the only games that are relevant from a sales perspective on Switch 2. PS5 and PC have the AAA audience fully locked down to their own ecosystems. So Nintendo mostly made a system that won't need the specs it has, creating the feeling that the system is just overpriced because most consumers don't care at all that they can play some PS5 AAA ports on 30 fps on Switch 2.
