Comparing Switch 1 first holiday to Switch 2 is a bit tricky because 2017 was a 53 week year for Famitsu, and this year is a 52 week year. So Week 50 for example this year shares 3 days with Week 50 in 2017 and 4 days with Week 51 in 2017.

Probably the fairest way to compare is taking the average of the two weeks in 2017 that the 2025 week shares days with, so I've done that in the table below. Switch 2 is selling closely in-line with what the Switch 1 did in its first holiday in Japan so far.
