Is the Xbox Series actually a bad console?

As mentioned the hardware is high quality, the problem is that it's completely redundant. PS5 gets basically everything Xbox gets now plus more and same for PC. Game Pass was a notable thing it had over the PS5 for a while but with the recent big price increase of that combined with Xbox Series consoles getting more price hikes than the PS5 any value advantage it once had over it is gone so unless someone's friends are on Xbox or they're already invested in the ecosystem I don't know why someone would get an Xbox console going forward unless they like to own or collect new tech.
