Looking back at 2017… turns out Switch did significantly worse not just than PS4 but also XBOne during November. In fact, holiday sales were so strong for PS4 and XBOne that each system had hit their peak holiday season, meanwhile Switch saw its weakest (pre-2024). Come December, however, and Switch would pull way far ahead.

Furthermore, Mat himself affirms that, yes,this performance says nothing more than “PS5 got a solid price cut,” affirming the claim of NS2 & PS5 having sold very solid during BF and not that NS2 is headed for the fabled cliff.
