30 - This title allows you to pick the order in which you visit the locations in the middle portion of the game. - Like the previous entries in the series, this '90s title continues to follow the adventures of one of the most well known characters in gaming. - This game, and the two that preceded it, were remastered and released as a collection in 2024. Aside from the updated graphics, one of the notable features was a ‘modern’ control scheme as an alternative to the ‘tank’ controls used to navigate the female protagonist upon initial release.
25 (incorrect guesses - The Witcher 3 - One particular port of this game is often cited as highly impressive for cramming so much content onto one cart.

Ah, 30 is a Tomb Raider game then. I don't know much about the franchise but I'm going to assume Tomb Raider 3, I believe it's subtitled "Adventures of Lara Croft"? Which would fit your second hint.

28) Earthbound but it's occasionally monochrome OMO_I
27) The titular character is back for the third time, better kill him again
This title was controversial for a number of missteps at launch, but hands down has the best combat in this extremely influencial action RPG series
The Devil. Literally the Devil.

Hmm, wait... I thought "OMO_I" was supposed to be some emoticon or something, but is that just the name of the game? OMORI? (but isn't that game always monochrome?)
I'm still not sure what's going on with #27 though. Your hints make me think Devil May Cry, but is that considered an ARPG? And "missteps at launch" make me think it'd be a more recent game, whose issues would've been rectified in later patches. Anyway, I'll just guess Devil May Cry 3.

#32 - Rhythm violence. Extra hint - Though it's available on just about everything, this rhythm game was primarily meant to be played in VR. Extra extra hint - It was developed by a couple of former Guitar Hero/Rock Band developers. (this one never gets guessed, does it)
#31 - The time-loop mechanics in this almost makes me wonder if we could consider this the earliest roguelike? Extra hint - This game is known for going very dark in a franchise typically seen as kid-friendly. Extra extra hint - It spawned one of the earliest and most famous creepypastas on the internet.
#30 - Go kill Time... no, like, literally. Kill him. Extra hint - A sequel to a beloved indie game... hopefully it doesn't mess too much with the chronology.
#29 - The 4th entry in this series, it was polarizing for being linear and adding a robot that told you what to do. Extra hint - It is eligible for this year's event, which means it's not Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.
#27 - Before this character's "animal form" became a wolf in a later game, it was a rabbit.
#26 - The story of a little spirit guy, as narrated by a big tree with a deep voice.

I thought I got 31? ...or maybe the loop started over? 32) Beat Saber? 30) Hades 2? 26) Ori and the Blind Forest?

Uhh... yeah, you did get 31. Sorry, I'm blind!
30 and 26 are correct - 32 is not.
