32 - Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3
- This game and its sequel were remastered this year.
- One of the earlier entries in this successful ‘extreme sports’ series
- The most well known person from this sport was totally on board and leant his name to this series.

31 - Grand Theft Auto
- This game is not currently available to buy, despite launching a major franchise.
- A bird’s eye view of crime
- The next game in this series is due next year, and when all is said and done, sales figures will surely be into the hundreds of millions.

30 - Tomb Raider III
- This title allows you to pick the order in which you visit the locations in the middle portion of the game.
- Like the previous entries in the series, this '90s title continues to follow the adventures of one of the most well known characters in gaming.
- This game, and the two that preceded it, were remastered and released as a collection in 2024. Aside from the updated graphics, one of the notable features was a ‘modern’ control scheme as an alternative to the ‘tank’ controls used to navigate the female protagonist upon initial release.

29 - Resident Evil 2 remake
- This game allows you to view some familiar places from a different perspective.
- A remake of perhaps the most beloved ‘old school’ game in this series.

28 - Resident Evil 4 remake
- That helpful stranger asks for more in return from you this time round. You don’t have to help, but there are rewards up for grabs if you do.
- The latest game in this series to get a makeover.

27 - Super Mario Galaxy 2
- Unlike the previous game, the unlockable character gets his own unique set of missions in this highly regarded sequel.
- After being passed over in a compilation a few years back, this was finally re-released this year. It’s available either on its own, or as a two part collection with the game that preceded it.

26 - Super Mario Odyssey
- The piece of attire that character has is now hugely important.

25 (incorrect guesses - The Witcher 3
- One particular port of this game is often cited as highly impressive for cramming so much content onto one cart.
