34BigThings srl has just shared the first trailer for its upcoming Carmageddon game, Carmageddon: Rogue Shift. Carmageddon: Rogue Shift will be a roguelite racing game with weapons.

I want this to be good, but what I am seeing is not filling me with confidence. Cars don't seem that different between each other, and I roll my eyes when I see the word roguelite. I tried the latest one, Max Damage, but I thought that it simply takes too long to finish a level.

Nowadays, some old franchises sell more because of the name than the quality of the games, and this one seems like it will fit that description.

As for the roguelite part, well, it's a popular genre right now and the more tags you can add to your game, the more potential buyers.
