Unreal Engine 5 Fan Remake of Konami’s Canceled PT Is Now Playable and Free to Download

Now here is something that passed under my radar. Last month, RickiE7an released the latest of his Unreal Engine 5 Remake of Konami’s canceled Silent Hill project, PT. This is one of the best fan remakes of PT, so don’t sleep on it.
This PT remake has the same length and features as the original game. It even includes Liza. The ending has also been recreated. However, the character you see at the end doesn’t look very close to Norman Reedus. This is normal for a small fan-made project. Still, it’s impressive that the remake includes the full ending at all.
To run it, you will at least need an Intel Core i7-4720HQ with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M. These minimum PC specs suggest that the game will run on a wide range of PCs.
Since Konami has pulled PT from the PSN store, this might be the best way to experience it. And, even though PT was exclusive to PS5, this fan remake is available on PC. So, if you always wanted to get your hands on it, you should download it.

NieR Automata Got A Must-Have AI-Enhanced HD Texture Pack

Modder ‘Evgeshajk’ has released a new AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack for NieR Automata. This is a must-have for everyone who wants to replay it, or for those who haven’t played it yet.
Going into more details, this mod upscales all textures by four times. As such, the new modded ones look sharper and more detailed. At the same time, they also retain the art style of the original textures. This is important for those who haven’t played the game yet. With this HD Texture Pack, they’ll be able to experience the game the way the devs originally intended.
Do note that this mod will increase VRAM usage. The mod was tested on an RTX 5080 with 16 GB of video memory, and in some places, there were slight delays when loading new areas. So, make sure to keep that in mind.
You can go ahead and download this new HD Texture Pack from this link. The pack comes in two parts and weighs around 30GB. At the end of the video, you can also find a video for it. This video shows off some of the new textures.

Yesterday, Running With Scissors announced a new POSTAL game, called POSTAL: Bullet Paradise. This game was developed by Goonswarm Games and was meant to come out on PC via Steam. However, in a matter of hours, RWS has decided to completely kill the project.
