You think Nintendo is selling switch 2 at a loss in Japan?

Why?!

Because all the components they buy to produce Switch 2 are bought in dollar amounts, and in Japan they sell the Switch 2 at 49k-53k in yen value, and the yen is a very weak currency. So the end result is likely that they sell it at a loss in Japan. The same will be true for Sony and their current 55k yen price in Japan, which means i don't think Sony will be supplying big volumes to Japan in the future due to them likely not wanting to lose too much money supplying the Japanese market.

They don't have to pay tariffs or overseas shipping costs to sell the Switch 2 in Japan where it's made.
