These are valid points on the franchise's story, but it hinges on Miles what's-his-face being a pest hanging around for a tutorial's length while we already know there are five of these dudes, and God only knows how long they'll actually be there annoying and hindering you.

I don't think anyone is afraid or complaining about some dude talking, most people liked Fusion and Corruption, and they had that, but looking at Other M shows that there are absolutely very poor, immersion-breaking ways this stuff can be implemented, and given how few and far between Metroid games are, I think the PTSD is valid.
