It doesn't make sense for them to not to disgard Europe in favour of the US and Japan, Europe is too firmly dominated by PS that it doesn't matter what they do there, the end result will be the same. I mean it speaks volumed that PS5 is selling more than double the Switch 2 there even though its over 5 years old.
I think Nintendo understands that Asia outside Japan is a more important region for them in the future than Europe as well, Europe will only go ever more in PC/PS direction, leaving little room for a Nintendo console there.
