What advantage do the macro buttons have?

The Switch 2 allows you to assign them as any button in game for example if you don't like using the triggers in certain game you can assign the macro buttons that same function in game just hold the home button (you can even assign D-pad directions to them), they rest exactly where your middle and ring fingers holding the controller are as well so they're not awkward and are quick to use. They effectively act as two extra buttons for customization without compromising other buttons or in game control schemes.
