Still only 2 games found? Next round of hints then...

#50: Probably the best PC-exclusive fighting game there is.

  1. Giants robots are duking it out
  2. In the story mode, you can level up both your pilot and machine independently

#49: Unlike in the other games of the series, no transformations here.

  1. Instead of transformations, you got stereotypical pirate equipment
  2. The player's main attack is whipping her hair, though a powerful kick can be learned later, plus some more equipment-based attacks.

#48: Looks a lot like Metroid, but isn't Metroid

  1. Originally released on the venerable C64, though ports to other machines followed very quickly
  2. The Original came out in 1990 and really pushed the C64 to it's limits. Apaprt from the gameplay, it's fondly remembered for it's soundtrack.

#46: Ever wanted to shoot your console? In this game, you can in the final level.

  1. A Sega game where you can meet characters like Sonic, Alex Kidd or Samba de Amigo
  2. The game id for the most part a simulation with RPG combat, though instead of actually fighting you insult or encourage the enemies you encounter in dungeons.

#44: Lead your people from the Stone Age to the Space Age.

49 is a Shantae game, but I've only played the first one, so maybe Pirate's Curse just going by the name.
