It’s crazy to think just how kong it’s been since Metroid Prime 4 was originally revealed… not only was I still in middle school, but also, MP4 was the third Nintendo game reveal I had ever witnessed. (The previous two reveals were Xenoblade Chronicles 2 & Kirby 2018 (Star Allies), all three from E3 2017. I started my time with Nintendo with the launch of Switch.)

The time elapsed between Metroid Prime 4’s reveal and release is larger than the length of any generation of Nintendo consoles, including Nintendo Switch.

That said, to say I can sympathize with those anxious Metroid fans as they await their long awaited entry would be an understatement.
