Playing Stadium 1 is different enough to be worth playing even if you already own Stadium 2.

Don't mention it. Graphically they are almost identical (though Stadium 2 has an edge in resolution thanks to the Expanssion Pack), but as I said, the approach to battles from both you as a player and the team construction of the enemy trainers is much different.
