Pretty cool announcements. Valve's attempts at hardware weren't ideal at first but they've gotten a lot better at it so it was about time for these three to get new versions. I have no need for a Steam Machine but might get the controller at some point and could make the Steam Frame my first experience with VR.
For the former its specs seem disappointing though if a bigger beefed up version comes out in a couple years or so then it could work really well as a budget option if the price is right. It could be a good way for someone who currently only plays really easy to run games like Fortnite on a basic laptop to upgrade to something with a lot more power without needing to spend a lot. There will be lots of kids out there whose only experience with PC gaming so far is that for example.
