As an owner of the original steam controller... I also don't like the look of the new controller, but any USB controller will work with the steam machine so not really an issue.

If they can hit $699 for the 2TB model I think it would be very nice. Much more and it starts getting a bit rough with those specs. It's definitely a device with budget built in mind considering it's using old tech for both the cpu/gpu, and low-midrange in pc terms at that.

The size is quite nice, it's significantly smaller than the Series X at 4.09 Litres, instead of 6.86 Litres.
