Can't tell the HW is powerfull? How does it compare? to series x and PS5 pro?

It's weaker in GPU than the PS5/XSX. It's basically a desktop RX 6600. Whereas the RX 6600 XT is a better match for the PS5. So the PS5/XSX have roughly 20-30% more GPU power.

CPU should be a fair bit better though with Zen 4 and much higher clocks, even if it has less threads.

As an owner of the original steam controller... I also don't like the look of the new controller, but any USB controller will work with the steam machine so not really an issue.

Then it also could mean that the machine will be rather cheap as in 700$ range?  Controller probably be +100$ =p
