Started out with the NES Metroid. It very quickly ranked right up there with Legend of Zelda. Outside of the original Gameboy I never bought myself another Nintendo handheld until the New 3DS XL (which I haven't really played) so I missed out on all the handheld titles past the Gameboy ones.
I really liked Prime and its successors. Dread was awesome, Other M was just ok. This game is why I made the jump to Switch 2, just like with Breath of the Wild and Switch 1 I want the best possible experience with this title and it was worth a system purchase to get that.
