NVIDIA’s latest Game Ready drivers break support for older Forza titles

https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidias-latest-game-ready-drivers-break-support-for-older-forza-titles

The weirdest part, at lest to me, is that snapshot with the Nvidia rep saying that it will likely never be resolved because the blame is on the games for using or checking things out of their control. If the games worked fine with with all the previous drivers, then they must have stopped working because Nvidia has changed/removed something, right?

Why blame the games?

It's possibly some undocumented feature/quirk of the GPUs/drivers that the game was using but wasn't officially part of how their GPUs and drivers work.

AMD to launch gaming-oriented Ryzen AI MAX+ 388 & 392 “Strix Halo” APUs with full Radeon 8060S graphics

Now this is the good Strix Halo chip for handheld gaming PCs.

Will probably still consume too much power to be a viable chip for that purpose. It would work, but battery life would be horrible.

Gaming laptops without any discrete GPU on the other hand...
