Yeah, thought about it, too. But I claim that Xbox' recent price hikes, not just for GP, literally was just another nail for their hardware sales.
I believe we won't be seeing the true effect up until next year, where I suspect hardware sales not be going anywhere above 100K for 10 out of 12 months globally.
But this year's Holiday season even in the US, with Halo announced for PS5, Flight Sim coming for PS5, etc., I think it's gonna be bad, really bad for X|S.

And it's estimates. I personally think X|S hardware unit sales are at least 10-15% less than VGC estimates anyway.
