I completed Nioh 2 DLC. It was well worth the $10 I spent on it, but I did find the content slightly lacking if I bought it for the original $30. Still most of the content is in the NG+ tiers you get, but I haven't delved into that too much. The DLC reminded me why I liked the game so much. My love for this game far exceeds Nioh or any Fromsoft game, and I finally kind of realized why. I play a stupid build, and I smash my head into the bosses. Nioh 2 allows that to be possible. Shuten Doji or Otakemaru vs me. I dodge what I can but ultimately what I want to do is hit them. Dodging is only a vector for getting me closer to them in order to hit them more. So I do hit them, and they hit back. Other games, I am either dodging or parrying more than 50% of the time. In Nioh 2 I am attacking more than 50% of the time. A lot of fights come down to dps races, their massive health bar vs mine and 9 elixers. When I come out on top with 0 elixers left and a sliver of health, I feel ecstasy. Of course Nioh 2 does allow dodge builds and tank builds to work too, but for me attack build is where it is at.

Still need to beat this one
