Viola takes over as Bayonetta thing at the end which really soured me as while she was an okay character she was no way a worthy replacement for Cereza.

As I say, still had a good time thanks to the terrific gameplay though.

She'll come back. Video games like this are like comic books. They can always and will always find some silly reason for them to come back. Even more serious games like Metroid find a fingernail to bring Ridley back.
