I don't have a problem with games having a silly or unserious story, but Bayo 3 fell down more in the villain not being very well built up or interesting, and the whole

Viola takes over as Bayonetta thing at the end which really soured me as while she was an okay character she was no way a worthy replacement for Cereza.

As I say, still had a good time thanks to the terrific gameplay though.
