Here's a bigger comparison of the capabilities of the Gripen E/F and F-16. Keep in mind that they are comparing to the newest F-16 variant block 70/72, which started production in 2015, so those are more capable than those that Ukraine has received so far.

Long story short, Gripen wins almost all categories, and also fits much better for Ukraine because it's designed for a strategy for the defense of Sweden that is similar to the situation in Ukraine right now
