Sam Lake or Hideo Kojima?

Sam Lake doesn't have past translators who'll shit on his writing. Okay, granted, Sam Lake doesn't *need* an English translator, but the point (kinda) still stands! As far as storytelling is concerned, I haven't played a dud penned by Lake yet. Can't say the same for Kojima. What annoys me when talking about Kojima and my misgivings with his writing is how it overshadows his design & production skills. It takes more than luck to sustain this level of gaming super-stardom.
