I saw somewhere that retailers were holding down prices and stock levels at the old price, so I believe the PS5 should see a sales surge in August and September, with many people buying up the old stock before the new one hits the shelves. From what I'm seeing, the PS5 will see a sales surge this holiday season. We can't forget that Sony's forecast for the fiscal year is 15 million units, and so far that forecast hasn't changed.
