The Xbox physical games will get discounted heavily to get them off of shelves, but more and more Xbox first party games aren't getting psychical releases. PS5 games don't get nearly as discounted as they have in previous console generations. The current $30 for God of War physical is about as good as it gets for first party games. Many PS5 games may drop to $40 a year or two later, but we don't see the drop down to $20 anymore that we used to see within a year of a game being out anymore. Switch 1 games would get occasional drops down to that same $30 range on Black Friday.
