Consequences of trying for so long to lean your audiences towards Game Pass. Over the past year, they've been pushing Play Anywhere just as hard as Game Pass. Which, the entire point of Play Anywhere is you BUYING the games.

Hike the price of their consoles, and retailers stop selling them. Few were buying them anyway. Hike the price of Gamepass which was not gaining significant new people. MS seems just flat out fucking stupid. They are still the reigning champs of slamming their dick in the door.
