Some don't like playing as women..

I loved Resident Evil 1-CV, and half the time I was playing as a woman. I liked Heavenly Sword. I have no issues with Tomb Raider. But when it comes to this game, this is a complete switch. And honestly, given the company and who they got to voice the protagonist, it sort of smells a little bit forced... like it's a holder over from the woke-era. Could be wrong about that, but yeah. Really... really smells like it. And if that's the case, it could be a man, woman, gay, straight, trans, alien... I'm not going to buy it. I don't want identity politics in my games. Politics, okay. Not identity politics. I've been bludgeoned over the head for the last decade with that. I'm burned out.

Yeah, I'm with you man. I was hoping to see more Jin Sakai now that the franchise had been established. New adventures with perhaps a big city as a new environment and whatnot.

But they went with a complete makeover with a magical girl boss, hired an Antifa lunatic for the role and have shown that their team is home to some extreme leftist ghouls as well.

Nah, gonna sit this one out. Too much bullcrap in and around the game.
