The game's is out now on Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. The Switch 2 version will come at a later date.
Having spent about an hour with it this evening, it's good fun.
I wouldn't say it quite hits the same highs as Transformed, but it's a substantial step up over 2019's Team Sonic Racing, and an enjoyable entry in the genre.
I will say though, on anything above Normal speed it is relentless, and I was constantly hammered by attacks and rammed by enemy racers. Ended up sticking to normal just for a more relaxed experience.
