I had complete pre-Euro sets of many European currencies (West-German D-Marks/Pfennige, East-German Marks/Pfennige, French Francs/Centimes, Spanish Pesetas, Italian Lira, UK Pounds/Shillings/Sixpence/Pennies, Austrian Schillinge/Groschen, Swiss Franken, Netherland Gulden/, Greek Drachmen, Swedish Kronen, Czech Kronen...) from vacations, but I can only find a few dozens of single coins... and an unopened Euro-Starter-Set from 2002:

I'll have to check where our old pre-Euro coins are. Apart from the 5-Sou Stécker (25 Luxembourgish/Belgian Franc cents coins), of which my Aunt used about 350 as a weight to keep a very tall vase with thin base from tipping over when they got retired from circulation, I have no idea where all our old coins are.

I also still have my starter pack (from Luxembourg), and that one is with our 2€ commemorative coin collection, of which we're only missing a few coins (mostly from Vatican, San Marino or Andorra)
