What I think is irrelevant, correct. What the majority thought back then, is not. Not if we're discussing which versions were the gold-standards. And for fucks sake, Curl. We all know it's true. No one wanted the Nintendo versions (figure of speech; stop typing). They were fucking jokes.

As for the Switch 2 game that doesn't even exist yet... it will be inferior as well. The specs of that handheld guarantee it. 

What the majority think actually doesn't matter as long as it appeals to enough people to be commercially successful.

Most gamers for instance aren't interested in say Xenoblade or Fire Emblem but those IPs still sell enough to be worth making.

Switch 2 gamers don't care if a game is graphically worse than PS/Xbox/PC.
