I only showed the words Orwell said and where they lead. I never said he was pro or anti socialism.

You only care about proving how he represents your views or your side, you ignore the parts that are actually important.

Why would I care?

This isn't some kind of game, where I collect all the "good" people on my side, and put all the "bad" people on the other side.

That's not how reality works.

The current 'left-wing' resembles Animal Farm much more than the socialism Orwell dreamed of. The ironic obssession with social heirarchy has exposed the hypocrisy. They didn't heed any of his warnings and descended into radicalisation again.

That real socialism continues to be a myth.

There is arguably not a left wing in the US.

But the bigger thing is that this reminds me of this pattern that social progress is always perceived to be too much.

Martin Luther King Jr. is asking for too much, and 1960's feminism is asking for too much. And then 50 years later, most people think that those old things were good. Now the real problem is current feminism and current social justice.

A lot of your posts so far are baseless generalizations - what hypocrisy has the "obsession with social hierarchy" exposed.
