I wasn't suggesting that they should (really) push the graphics that heavily; as long as they're polished I don't really care that much.
My main thought was that the additional processing power and memory should allow them to increase the size of your town by (at least) 5 to 10 times what it was in previous games, the increased storage space on DVD should allow them to increase the ammount of content by (at least) 5 to 10 times, and internet connectivity could be used for people to generate the own content and share it with their friends/the world (creating infinite content).
Other things I wonder about are related to it becomming a far more important title than I think it was initially expected to be ... Having sold so many units on the Nintendo DS and being so popular with the demographics Nintendo is trying to capture means that this game could see far more development resources than any previous Animal Crossing game. It may not sound that important, but if you increased the handful of activities that you're able to perform in Animal Crossing: Wild World, added more ways that the world changed from day-to-day and over time, the game could become something unimagineable.
