As much as I oppose offering paid DLC (and as opposed as I am to Game Freak & Pokémon in general), this is definitely not the first instance where a game + DLC would cost you over $100. Smash Ultimate, for instance, would be $100 with the two DLC Character Packs. The Sims 4 is another very strong example, serving as nothing more than a DLC compilation. I’m also recalling countless releases which advertise as “Get it a few days early! And get these extra skins!” charging well over $100USD.
