Personally I’ve never counted games like Tony Hawk as sports titles because they are extremely arcade like and and action focused. Same with the Sega racing games, they’re arcade ports, they’re arcade games. But the actual sports games on those lists were all incredible. Sega had phenomenal sports offerings in all four of the big US sports and even for something more niche like tennis they had Virtua Tennis.

EA was way too scared to put their shitty titles on the Dreamcast to compete.
