Sanctions won't end the war anyway, so even if Trump's stupid proposals were fully implemented, we'd be looking at an ongoing war while European countries have to battle rising inflation and related turmoil.
The way to end this war is to provide Ukraine with all weapon systems that are necessary to win a war and remove all restrictions on how these weapons are supposed to be used. Additionally, you send NATO troops into Ukraine. Not to the frontlines, but to the perimeter of every major city; and then you tell Putin that any attack or anything that threatens the life of a NATO soldier will trigger an actual involvement of NATO soldiers in the war. NATO needs to flip the script of it being Russia who dictates the rules.
