Oddly enough one of the biggest rifts between different MAGA groups happens to really be at odds over their opinion of Isreal and the Jewish community and its a pretty huge division.

What is it? "I hate Jews" vs "I hate Arabs?"

No, oddly enough the pro Israel people probably are more antisemitic in general. Or maybe equally.

There is a belief among evangelical Christians that For Jesus to return, the Jews must be in control of the holy land. Dunno enough about the scripture to understand why.

So even among people who generally hate Jews and blame them for at least 50% of society's ills, many are staunchly pro-Israel. And acting as though they support Jewish people in general is a way to make it seem rooted in some sort of kindness. Then of course, there are also those who see Israel as a check against the spread of Islam.

As for the pro-Palestinian contingent of the right wing, I don't think it has much to do with any objection to Israel's actions, but more about general isolationism. I have a feeling they would not complain as much if America wasn't funding it, but it's not objections to how Israel is using the funds as much as it is just money going out for any kind of foreign aid. Of course, fake sympathy will be displayed when useful.

Of course, another element of this is it's all a fucking game. They are competing for the same market, so you need to do something to distinguish yourself from others. Everyone needs to have a hook.
