The UN General Assembly voted in favour of establishing a Palestinian state. The resolution, backed by 142 countries, calls for a two-state solution, a ceasefire in Gaza, release of hostages, Hamas disarmament, and regional security guarantees.

Israel voted against it, alongside nine other countries – Argentina, Hungary, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Tonga and the United States – while 12 nations abstained.

Sounds great. How is this enforced

It's the UN so it won't be enforced, the UN is toothless. But even still, it would be nice to see America on the right side of history, even if the resolution won't even do anything, they can't even be bothered to vote yes to some vague peace proposal.
