Ah yes the no one is forcing you to be gay.... The common thing that gets said. Then why do we have so much corpo/government backing to pedal this shit even on things that didn't have it nor really were made for it? If you didn't think this was about control over the culture, then you are deluded.

Again, forcing inclusivity is retarded. Also trying to force acceptance means you have to strongarm people into agreement. You have to earn it if you want it. You are free to do so. But don't come crying to me if people push against it and you're forced to retreat back into your minority safe space. If you were able to exist without having that much eyes on you, then trying to make it "mainstream" was your own decision.

Also, the world is filled with jerks. The only time that it really matters to me is on extreme cases like when they try wish harm onto others. Someone calls me a f*gg*t? Fuck. I lost a second of my time reading that. Who the fuck is that guy anyway? A fucking nobody? Moving on.

Oh yeah, making 50 movies out of a 1,000 that portray a gay couple is forcing me to be gay. People making content and asking for content doesn't affect you. If you don't want those movies, don't watch them.

How do people "earn" acceptance? I'm pretty sure the only way to actually do that, is to have people experience that culture. Having a gay couple in a tv show, that aren't terrible. Having a trans person in a movie that is well written. And yet when that happens, it is a bridge too far for some people.

How do they earn acceptance, when any kind of reference to them, is too far?

Except it's not just mean words on a screen. It's a government official telling you that she's not going to allow you to submit paper work to get married because she doesn't agree with your "life style".  It's a dad killing their child for being gay. Throwing their child out of the house for being trans.

And yes, those things have happened.

Ah but the real crime against humanity is when your friend says she wants to be called Sally now, instead of John.  The real cruelty in life is when she stops fitting her sandbox around yours, just because you can't do such a simple thing around her.
