It was a great Direct. I rate it 9/10.

The lineup is packed until May and anyone who was worried that Nintendo wouldn't be able to keep up the pace of first party releases moving from Switch 1 to Switch 2 can rest easily. I couldn't be bothered to read the reactions in the main thread, but it's probably business as usual with the people who are disappointed: That the one game they expected and that was an extreme long shot to be announced wasn't announced. Or that video games cost more money now. Or that a 60+ minute Direct had stretches that were uninteresting to them.

You nailed it, the same thing happens every time, people treat each Direct like it’s E3 and we’re supposed to get megaton after megaton of games releasing over the next 2-3 years.

That model no longer exists and Nintendo does a few general Directs each year where the focus is on games releasing over the next 6 or so months.
