All Nvidia here. Went from 4070 to 4090, just got my daughter a 5070ti. I don't see what AMD offers over Nvidia, I just don't.

Currently? Not much really. As I said, they haven't manage to keep the prices at bay. Something like 9070XT, that's within 5% of 5070Ti performance wise, would be a steal for original MSRP of $599. But you can't really find it under $699, so why bother when you can have 5070Ti for $50 more (as shitty as nVidia's drivers were with RTX 50 series).

RX 90 is great architecture, but still lagging behind nVidia RTX 50 in RT - that is, in RT that's in current games. If I understood correctly, AMD's approach to RT is more suited for chaotic complex geometry than nVidia's, which is more efficient in structured, man-made architecture. Not that nVidia will be siting and doing nothing, but I think AMD has some leverage to push with developers certain things, given that they're providing hardware for next gen that will be very RT heavy. That and those rumours about UDNA are really promising.

I think RX 10(X?) vs RTX 60 will be very, very interesting, with AMD trying to even go for the throne, which didn't happen in quite a while.
